Browse Forums Owner Builder Forum 1 Mar 30, 2014 2:55 am Hi - at the stage of having my plans approved and pulling together my budget. Struggling to get a quote for flat roofing though. I'm not looking at a huge area - about 33m2 in total. Any ideas what the cost will be to have this supplied and installed by a roofing plumber? Cheers Re: New project : flat roof cost 2Mar 30, 2014 6:05 am Hello rudiger, I am also at about the same stage as you, maybe 50sqm of colourbond. last time i bought roof sheeting(approx 5 yrs ago) colourbond was 20-30$ mtr. Got no idea of cost of install but asume you will be putting bats and or sisalation to add to the cost. wobbly1 Design from top down to ground , build from ground up Re: New project : flat roof cost 4Mar 30, 2014 10:48 am I am currently getting quotes for a flat roof replacement, and a ballpark price per square meter installed is coming in at roughly $100. I'm waiting on written quotes to confirm this, but I think that includes battens and the blanket insulation that goes under the metal, but batts in the ceiling will be additional, as will fascias, etc. Re: New project : flat roof cost 5Mar 30, 2014 9:14 pm Nibbles55 I am currently getting quotes for a flat roof replacement, and a ballpark price per square meter installed is coming in at roughly $100. When I work out the square metre size of the roof itself i.e. no labour etc, I get to about $1k. Therefore I'd expect a couple of grand on top. Good luck! Re: New project : flat roof cost 6Apr 09, 2014 3:47 am hi rudiger, my costs seem to be more in the rafters for the build with, lvl 150 x 38 section beams at 450 centres over a 5m span + insulation + roof sheeting. So need to add aprox another 2500 to the cost of roof Design from top down to ground , build from ground up Hi all, Been browsing project builders' website and saw Masterton with attached granny flat design Seeing bad reviews from masterton in this website/facebook, does… 0 18306 I would suggest you simply go and talk to council about your proposal, most councils are getting onboard with ancillary dwellings.
