Browse Forums Owner Builder Forum 1 Jan 15, 2014 3:57 pm Hi All We are wonder how much it costs approximately to completion of the slab? So including drawings, council, engineering, earthworks cut 200 top corner fill rest 590mm and lay P class waffle slab with total 97.5Lm of piers. Approx 33sq. Footings but no alfresco slab. Single story. The reason we are wondering we have paid the builder 5% approx $16K and the next payment is Approx $61K would there be $77K worth of work and materials at this stage? Total build Approx$305K Does anyone have their costs for a similar build? Re: Approx cost up to slab laid for 33sq P waffle 2Jan 15, 2014 5:10 pm Hi Lenny, We poured a slab in 2011 - in two pours: Main slab waffle pod + raft slab for garage…then we poured the 3 veranda slabs. 90+ piers under waffle pods, similar cutting as you require on the block. Total area is 43sq - total cost $41,000. That included all labour, materials, concrete, concrete pump hire, fill, bobcat and excavation. The engineers drawings were $770. and surveyor was $880. I didn't include any site costs (i.e.: temp fencing, toilet hire) or council DA fees. Mind you this was three years ago. Hope this info helps. I noticed the concreter didn't put the expansion foam anywhere, there are expansion… 0 8132 Thanks for the insights, that makes perfect sense, and yeah, I will be leaning on the experience of the excavator operator entirely. 6 16159 |
