Browse Forums Owner Builder Forum 1 Oct 19, 2013 11:27 pm Hi...I had a brainwave this morning...or so I thought! We are renovating and have just got the tile supply and installation cost (haven't got roof carpenters quotes yet) and thought why I am paying all this money for tiles I dont really like anyway??? Tiles are terracotta/black clay, I think they are called Harvest. Anyway...I thought Colourbond could be a better option and also will give the house the look I want. I realise Ill now have to go back to the structural engineer and council with an amendment to my building permit. My question...does anyone have an idea of cost? Do you think this seems like a good idea? Thanks Phil Re: Change from Tiles to Colourbond...Good Idea? 3Oct 20, 2013 12:10 pm Hi AKB We have got about 312sqm of floor space (it is single storey but has a funny loft extension at the back)...I'm not sure what that means as far as roof space...I have been in touch with your roof carpenter who I've been really impressed with...he's coming to look at the job next week...very knowledgable...
