My parents are renovating their house and they have chosen 4 colours and the 2 colours so far that they have put on their walls they were not 100% happy with as they look different to the swatch in store and different to the photos (they were doing whites and light greys), as all photos and swatches depend on the lighting (natural or artificial) and how much light. I would think it best to make your own swatches on your walls - it may cost more than looking at a photo but a few tins of sample paint wont equate to much, compared to litres and litres of the wrong paint that you couldn't stand to live with! Noone wants to paint any more than already necessary! Id get it mixed at the store rather than buy a tin so they know exactly what you want then you can just amend it until its perfect. GOOD LUCK!!
