What are the recognized builder licenses classification. I presume the owner builder license is the first course and it goes up from there? cheers. Re: Where can i get my Owner Builder Licence from Perth? 2Jun 11, 2013 3:53 pm Thee are lots of posts on this one search for owner builder licence there are a couple of courses available in Perth but the application for an owner builder licence has to be done at the builders registration board in West Perth. you can only get one every 7 years and it is not really a stepping stone to getting a fully registered commercial building licence. There are very different requirements for this including diplomas, possible degree, and on the job work/ supervising I did the owner builders course at Homebase expo, which if you haven't got any experience is a reasonably worthwhile course.
