Browse Forums Owner Builder Forum 1 Feb 08, 2013 11:12 pm When submitting a house plan to the council for planning approval, I know that we should include the house drawings & Title plan. Do we also need to submit a separate drawing that shows the house drawing included in the title plan ( that shows exactly where the house is going to be built on the land). In other words should I copy and paste the house drawing on to the title drawing ? or is that part done later during building application ? I only need the approval so that I can then advertise the land for sale along with the approval. The house plans should be on a drawing that allows the position to be seen in relation to the title boundaries and any adjacent roads. The Harder You Try - the Luckier You Get ! Best to find all that out before submitting the application, or you'll get into the all-too-familiar Council run-around. Not so much fun!
