Love the grey. And your ceiling in your lounge room is divine as well. It looks like such a nice space, your home would have a good feel Re: Perth NOR OB on 5 Acres - Kitchen and Pool :-) 1763Oct 18, 2017 3:04 pm Thanks A Build Slowly but surely getting there <!-- l --><a class="postlink-local" href="https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=62083">viewtopic.php?t=62083</a><!-- l --> Re: Perth NOR OB on 5 Acres - Kitchen and Pool 😀 1764Oct 18, 2017 4:15 pm Massive laundry! You said you ran out of wood in the bedroom. Were you using left over timber so does that mean the next batch might not match? Or is it easily matchable? The ceiling and the feel of the lounge room are fantastic. Can you please post a day time picture in there? Those bathroom tiles are amazing! And the laundry. WOW. You're putting a tv in the laundry?? Haha how cool is that! I definitely have laundry envy Re: Perth NOR OB on 5 Acres - Kitchen and Pool :-) 1767Oct 19, 2017 9:20 am Hey Cat, All the flooring is old recycled jarrah floor lots that we have purchased as we go so none of it 'matches' but once it's sanded and sealed you could never tell. I think we have spent approx $8000 in the cost of Jarrah and then another $8000 to have it sanded and sealed so it works out very cost effective (compared to my taste in tiles) 😂 The laundry is a laundry/old fashioned still room. I've deliberately done it so there is no natural light in there. The idea being I can work on body scrubs etc, do craft that is a little bit stinky, put up preserves and dry herbs etc. Re photos of course Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ And in final news have finally picked the stone to clad the inside of the fireplace - it's laid in a French pattern. Super interesting about your laundry/still room! Do you run an at home business in body scrubs? What stinky crafts do you do? lol No Home Business I have an accounting practice (not run from home though). I like to make body scrubs etc that I use myself and also give to family and friends. I'm thinking pickling Olives etc stuff that you kind of need a kitchen but don't want it filling up the kitchen it just needs to be somewhere nice and dark. Re Crafts I like to turn my hand to everything - not always successfully and I have a dream that one day I will have a garden that will make us semi self sufficient <!-- l --><a class="postlink-local" href="https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=62083">viewtopic.php?t=62083</a><!-- l --> Re: Perth NOR OB on 5 Acres - Kitchen and Pool :-) 1770Nov 02, 2017 7:53 pm Finally made a decision on the fireplace.
