I was considering getting a Porsche Cayenne but I heard they're real petrol guzzlers. Do they really chew through the fuel that badly? I was considering getting a Porsche Cayenne but I heard they're real petrol guzzlers. Do they really chew through the fuel that badly? We have the v8 twin turbo if considering purchasing buy shares in Shell or BP! It's a lovely car to drive, on road performs really well and road apart from in soft sand - it's quite heavy and the 20" tyres that they come with don't allow a lot of air to be let down although you can do what we do and buy the 17" that everyone sells on eBay when they 'upgrade' to 20" we can normally get a set of brand news tyres and wheels for under $1k It's not just the fuel it's the maintenance that's a killer as well. My DH has a sickness and he loves his cars - this sickness can only be cured by spending 10s of $1000s on repairs and maintenance Re: Perth NOR OB on 5 Acres - Garage Grano poured :-) 513Feb 16, 2014 7:19 pm Hmmm... Maybe I'll have to consider another vehicle! You mentioned the roof cost $45k , is this just for the timber+labour ???. We also need to re roof , and welcome any advise how to go about this Re: Perth NOR OB on 5 Acres - Garage Grano poured :-) 516Feb 24, 2014 7:41 pm Hi Oliver21 Welcome to the forum. $45k would have been for the entire roof including tin, timber, guttering, hairflex and labour etc. Are you planning colourbond or tiles?
