Browse Forums Owner Builder Forum 1 Dec 26, 2012 1:44 pm Hi, How much space is required for a renderer to do some rendering. We have an a/c unit that needs to go in place and the rendering wont be done for a while. The unit will sit on an outside wall (we dont need to render this part) and then the wall comes forward around one end. - like a corner, and we have some steps that come out on the other side - so technically it is on the right and left hand side of the unit where the walls need to be rendered. We have allowed the unit to sit out from the walls by approx 200m - is this enough space?? or do we need to speak to actual tradesmae as they will all require a different amount of space?? Re: rendering access space 2Jan 23, 2013 10:52 am Hey there, hard to make picture out what you said above. But a renderer generally requires just enough space to move freely in the space in order to render it. e.g. if he was in a hole and trying to render it, he would need enough space to freely wave his arms around and enough to bend down and render the bottom of the walls. In terms of measurements, i would if you can do a free standing squad, with your arms spread open in front of you and then to the side of you, you would be easly able to render all the walls around you. Is it possible to render an old corrugated iron shed.I have heard that it can be done if it is covered with chicken wire first. Not sure of the ratio of the render mix and… 0 4896 Dear Members I have to decide the Facade column size. My custom builder standard is 350mm with rendering, but i asked for 470mm plus stone or tiles and yet to get… 0 7497 yep you need a joint, foam is easiest, will look fine once rendered with a joint. 2 5236 |
