Next week I am there Wed - Fri so we can keep going with all the gyprocking. I may be there at other times but this is when Miss G is back at daycare can you PM me your number? I do have one in my phone but not sure it's correct. Let me know what day/time suits you. Re: New project in the Hawkesbury 64Dec 29, 2012 8:18 pm Hi Ems. If that number ends in 233 then it's the same one. I've had it for 15yrs lol. DH will still be home next week so I'd love to come for a visit - kid free Send me your address and I'll work out which day I can zap out there. Re: New project in the Hawkesbury 65Jan 05, 2013 3:03 pm Hope you're ok Vess xo. I sent you a text on Tuesday and haven't heard back. We have been busy gyprocking over the last few weeks. We should have the ceilings finished tomorrow and can then finish off the walls. I would say we are at least 80% done. We are getting a gyprocker (who is a friend) to come and set, sand and do the cornices. In the mean time we will be busy doing other things! We've chosen our flooring as well so it's all coming together Re: New project in the Hawkesbury 66Jan 21, 2013 12:18 pm OMG - gyprocking is taking forever LOL. We are truly almost finished though. Just need the sparky to come back this week and put in the sub board so I can finish the WIP. I really need to start looking at some wall colours now as it will be time to paint in a few weeks. We are hoping the bathrooms will be water proofed and the floor tiles done in the next 2 weeks as well. Once we have a working bathrom, lights and somewhere to cook we can get our temp occupancy certificate and move in. YAY!!! I can't wait to stay there and work on the house rather than travel back and forth Re: New project in the Hawkesbury 67Feb 02, 2013 1:58 pm Plasterers have been busy for a week and the cornice goes in next week. I love our cornice choice Waterproofer starting on the 11th, tiler a week later, undercoat then flooring. Hoping to be in by Easter. Although not very exciting I'll add some photos of the walls a little later on. DIY, Home Maintenance & Repair That laser level looks lovely! We bought one for less than a quarter of that price off eBay. It worked really well for us and it's still going now, five years later.
