Browse Forums Owner Builder Forum 1 Aug 08, 2011 11:07 pm First time owner builders and just finished the bottom level of our home. Awaiting the suspended slab for the loft to get poured in a few weeks. Really happy so far with it all. Just wondered if anyone had some ideas instead of the regular sliding door pelmet available. We have brick walls which will be plastered. No room for a cavity sliding door into our bathroom. The door will slide into the bathroom. Is there anything else out there to make it look nicer than the normal wooden pelmet of 11 - 12 cm to cover the top of the door. Open to any ideas. I have found a company call Hillaldam - which are now stocked by Gainsborough do one called the straightway 120 which has an integrated pelmut. Still not fantastic, but the best I have come up with so far! I hope someone has some great ideas as we are looking for an alternative to a chunky pelmut also.
