Good to see someone building with Hebel, it doesn't seem very common but it's so good! especially for insulation purposes. We were seriously considering Hebel but as it needs to be fully rendered we decided on bricks as we live on 2 acres which turns to a dust bowl in summer, the render would get filthy. Are you going with a project builder or small builder? I am wondering because we also plan to use hebel although I would like a bit of 'weatherboard' as well. Will look forward to watching your build https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=43937&start=0 Bought a block in Golden Grove - Jan 2011 Finally finished our design, Mar 2012, *yay* Signed with ADH council consent June 12 Re: Building our Dream Hillbank SA 7Jul 14, 2011 9:32 pm Thanks everyone, we are just waiting on our energy efficiency report to come back and we can submit our plans to the encumbrance manager and then to council then the work will begin! Dreamscometrue - we originally didnt have a bathroom off the study area but then had a good think about it and thought exactly that, it would make a great guest room and also with a small kitchenette in the rear of home theatre will mean this lower section can double as a self contained area. We are going to be solely owner buidler and do most of the work ourselves and what we cant do will be subied out. Its going to take a while as we both work full time but will be worth it in the end! Adam Re: Building our Dream Hillbank SA 8Jul 14, 2011 10:52 pm Wow! Now I'm really interested - I couldn't imagine building a house myself although hubby had contemplated building a mud brick house and a strawbale home at one time or another. https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=43937&start=0 Bought a block in Golden Grove - Jan 2011 Finally finished our design, Mar 2012, *yay* Signed with ADH council consent June 12 of course there are legal avenues. You've already mentioned it. Sue them. I find it odd that lawyers wouldnt be willing to take on the case, given CCT evidence and… 1 23616 "Losers" "humanity" "off time" "your" "top notch" "love symbol" Sounds like ponzo is done using other people's toilets 37 23724 |
