Have just been told by the planning dept at Banyule city council that I require a secon car space on the title. But because we are the original house on the block with 2 units behind, we may not have enough private open space to propose a second car space. Can any one help?? We were only proposing to add one bedroom and extend the lounge room. I find it really strange, because I am a project manager in the commercial construction industry and planning and building permits are a breeze, this residential stuff is doing my head in. dimensions on your original plan are inconsistent and with accurate dimensions (including site plan, upstairs and down) i could make a proper scale drawing with furniture… 3 7497 I looked into it a few years ago and my conclusion was to just build a carport that will support panels and get a system installed separately.
