Browse Forums Owner Builder Forum 1 Feb 18, 2011 12:49 pm Looking for about 15 acrows and about 8 strongboys for my renno work. We need to put in about 4 beams in the roof, largest of which is 400kg, a 4m door and a 2.4m window in a double brick home. The hire costs seem to be about the same as purchase costs. Don't see many on ebay and many of them look rusty. Also have the hassle of picking them up and we only have a station wagon. Was looking at new ones at about $90 each and $145 for the strongboys. Hoping to use them for the job then sell them on ebay. Most of them seem to come from India and I'm told they meet australian standards. Anyone have experience or advice about this?
