Browse Forums Owner Builder Forum 1 Jan 31, 2011 12:25 pm Hi all, I'm new to this forum and after a little information. My home is now a bit too small for our family and we are looking to extend. I have ideas of what we want and have done some drawings but now I need get the plans done professionally. I am also looking for a builder that is not overpriced, and dependable. I live on the central coast so I would prefer the draftsman from up here. The builder does not have to be from up here as long as they are reasonably priced. Hope I havent asked for too much in my first post. Re: looking for Builder and Draftsman 2Jan 31, 2011 1:00 pm Hi GreyRex I'm in Sydney & have used a really good drafty - not sure where he's located - Newcastle way? He didn't have any problems travelling if we needed to. He's can do 3-D plans too, which really helps with visualising your house. If you're interested, let me know & I'll send you details (can you see my e-mail if you click on my details?). Builder... not sure. I'm using my father-in-law & he's keen on retiring quite soon!!! The benefit is you can tender the project out… 9 20428 Really tight at the top of the stairs- how to get furniture into those rooms? Study books - does anyone really use them these days? Large storage closet would be more functional. 2 6894 Hi, I am looking into doing a KDR in Melbourne and am contemplating using Kialla Homes. I am looking for feedback on them from others who have built with them. 0 13448 |
