Schloss am Meer .... ten weeks in!

Well after much tooing and froing and some very kind offfers Miss Vintage converted my plans to jpeg for the world to see! I must get back on the bandwagon and get some more pics .... think I will wait until Onc is back ... he is a bit like the Loch Ness Monster ... you know he is there, you just cant get him on film! #

Well back to the drawing board ... the files are too big! Man this is getting boring!!!!!!

Well this weekend my husband and I spent the day cleaning, cleaning and cleaning. Up until the suspended slab we had been so lucky to have really tidy tradies ..... and then we were hit .... man oh man it was gross! But what a sense of satisfaction to get in and actually do some work. I will post some pics as it looks great. Next floor starts in one week! Woooo hoooooo!

FINALLY .... or so I thought the brickie was back to commence level two. Excitedly go down to half finished house to once again see no action. Bugger. Phone brickie who was really apologetic. Seems he got up on the slab only to discover that it was COMPLETELY covered in bird poo! Needs hosing and scraping it seems! Walls falling over, bird poo .... what next!!!!!

On a brighter note my windows are now in Singapore and making their way over here, albeit a few days early but good news that it is finally on the way. Thank goodness. Now a few kind words to my wonderful carpenter and that should move along.

Meeting plasterer out at the block on Thurs. Spent the WHOLE (well it felt like it) day at the bathroom shop trying to finalise fittings. Overbudget and over it!!!!! But on a positive note ... .I CAN HAVE MY BATH!!!!!

Onwards and upwards ... with a smile on my face!
