Well worth it though, looks great! Only the front door to go in (custom made, due in 2 weeks) and we will be locked up. We will be blocking off the large raking window with plywood until it arrives from China, so we can continue inside. http://i303.photobucket.com/albums/nn130/memphis2k/Block/bifold1_zps170f21e5.jpg http://i303.photobucket.com/albums/nn130/memphis2k/Block/bifold2_zpsba98dd0c.jpg http://i303.photobucket.com/albums/nn130/memphis2k/Block/bifold3_zps447ef3ed.jpg http://i303.photobucket.com/albums/nn130/memphis2k/Block/bifold4_zpsd871bbd6.jpg In addition to this the plumbing has been chased in and the electrical rough in will happen this weekend. So we should be ready for float & set very soon. Are you going to put in flyscreens? The retractable ones are great just very $$$! The retractable ones are great just very $$$! Thanks! I am over the moon with them!, especially this latest one, just love the tint!. They did offer the fly screens as an option but I opted out for now, I figure we can always add them later once the build is progressing. Most of these bifolds are really just for the "wall of glass" effect, and wont be opened all the way often, so flyscreens would be wasted. Looks quite small in the overall pictures, but this thing is HUGE! very happy with the job. Other items attended to recently include; Air con rough in Chimney completed and flu installed Electrical rough in Plumbing rough in All boring though so no pictures of that Re: Owner Building Perth Hills - Roof time! 194Dec 11, 2013 8:25 pm I have just one of those doors so can imagine how giant 2 of them would be Re: Owner Building Perth Hills - Roof time! 195Dec 11, 2013 11:13 pm Love those front doors - what a statement piece viewtopic.php?t=62083 Re: Owner Building Perth Hills - Roof time! 196Dec 31, 2013 1:03 pm agree with AKB the front looks terrific I like that roof line and the nice entry porch . Beautiful doors and beautiful outlook. Am envious of your bi fold doors and wish I'd been able to talk DH into something similar at our place. Re: Owner Building Perth Hills - Roof time! 197Dec 31, 2013 9:44 pm Agreed, love the bi-folds and especially love the big chimney poking out. Looks great. Re: Owner Building Perth Hills - Roof time! 198Jan 02, 2014 10:11 am Thanks everyone, I am very happy with how it has come together, having looked at drawings on paper for so long, to see it (albeit slowly) happen really puts a smile on my face. I am trying to schedule in our plasterer for early this year, depending on his workload. Cannot wait to have plaster and ceilings done, then I can actually begin doing work myself inside again (sealing, painting, cabinets, tiling etc) Even if it's not being sub-divided and you want to keep it as Torrens title, you will still need to talk to a town planner or Council themselves, to see if they will allow… 1 11017 Thanks again Simeon for being so elaborate. Appreciate it. Its gives us a very idea. Kind Regards 4 3657 Can anyone give me any onfo on New Homes WA? Good or bad, hopefully good just need to know if my choice was good or not? Thanks ❤️ 0 8933 |
