Browse Forums Owner Builder Forum Re: Where can i buy reasonable ply wood? 12Aug 02, 2010 9:34 pm If you are nailing into a substrate like ply board or particle board such as yellow tongue it is also good practice (standard practice?) to glue as well. Use a flexible setting glue such as one of the polyurethane glues. Do not use a rigid glue like liquid nails. cheers Re: Where can i buy reasonable ply wood? 13Apr 29, 2011 6:01 pm I've been quoted $12 per square metre for 12mm DD stucturalwood. Is this a good price? Re: Where can i buy reasonable ply wood? 15Apr 29, 2011 6:51 pm Are you stalking me kyton? It sure feels that way Where can i buy reasonable ply wood? 16Apr 29, 2011 6:53 pm No but I think that you may have two accounts. Now if I am mistaken by all means say so. But if I am right and my gut tells me I am then you are breaking the Forum's guideline No7. Some things are worth waiting for. Re: Where can i buy reasonable ply wood? 17Apr 29, 2011 6:56 pm Would you mind staying on topic kyton? If you have something to ask which isn't related to the topic feel free to private message me. Re: Where can i buy reasonable ply wood? 19Apr 29, 2011 7:01 pm I must admit I thought you were another poster also. Happy to be corrected if I'm wrong, but when you're on here a while, you get to know people's tone and things about your posts are very familiar. I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. Terrence Malick Re: Where can i buy reasonable ply wood? 20Apr 29, 2011 7:06 pm Aright might be going off topic here. However I find it weired BBB that you dont like to share, and keep many things secret, is the more to this. I find it fustrating because when I try to help people i like to get feedback etc. This can be in the form of a photo etc or even ideas etc that we can use on our houses. Is there a reason for withholding this information?? Seems good to me. I've been told $4-5k/sqm is reasonable in Perth. 2 18191 yeah i couldnt picture it issue either, but i could clearly picture what they were doing wrong haha 2 10556 Excellent, thanks for the tip ... not in Sydney, but I might give the Dy Mark a try, cheers 2 6521 |
