The original old 50's house has a corrugated roof, hence, I ordered corrugated for the new part. Imagine the horror when the truck arrived with Monospan! Y'know those expensive structural steel, pre-insulated roofing panels? Those. Special order, cut to size, paid for IN ADVANCE! The last run before the factory closed for Xmas too. What to do...bite a tree out of frustration or what! So now I have a horribly mismatched roof, no flashings (sent coro flashings). And because the factory wanted payment in advance, I'm predicting their motivation to correct their mistake is going to be fairly low. Currently, the gentleman who designed the extension (and materials) is nutting something out with them. Fingers crossed for corrugated! No, I'm not going to post a pic of the roof, it's embarrassing. Feel like putting a sign on it "SOMEONE STUFFED UP" Re: Color bond roofing 11Jan 26, 2011 1:23 am Actual cost Feb 2009 ( u will need a small increase in materials say 15% to Feb 2011) Supply & Install colourbond roof, 0.42BMT corrigated, class 4 roof zips, 55mm anticon under main roof not verandahs, 8 X 1.750 & 5 X3.000 polycarb sheets, gutters & down pipes Roof 440 sq m Verandahs 110 sq m total price $23,435 in GST. cheers T&V I plan on installing an undercover walkway (awning ??) from my carport to the back door as shown in sketch.
