I can't believe installed and connected at the same time, sure do things different to us up north! That's how it should be not weeks on end of waiting! If you get stuck working out the PVOutput site, pm me and I'll get Dh to explain it to you! I'd do it but i wouldn't have a clue Re: Re: Kitome Harrington MkIII...pg76...pics 1944Aug 15, 2011 9:53 pm Thanks Barb, But I have to work out how to get that data off the inverter first Ma and pa have lent us the money to get the railings and fascia on the verandah painted. They leave tomorrow Good news with DS1. After his major meltdown on Thursday, his gymnastics coach AND his swim coach have both reported massive improvements in his attitude and performance. Sometimes I think we all need to lose it to move on. DS1 got a credit and DS2 got a distinction in the Schools science competition. Love my nerds. Deemaree Let them know that their Cyber Aunties are proud of them too! I will. Solar has produced 19.54kWH so far today (it was 13.8 less than 2hrs ago) and it is only 3pm. Found out that even though new meters haven't been done, the current meters run backwards so we are still winners. I am waiting to hear back from the inverter company about software for my Mac so I can download all the data and put it on the PVOutput website that Barb put me onto. Oh and solar company also sent me pics of the panels on the roof so they will go up shortly too. Re: Kitome Harrington MkIII...pg76...pics 1955Aug 18, 2011 9:39 pm we should be paid to put solar panels in in Victoria.. Re: Kitome Harrington MkIII...pg76...pics 1956Aug 18, 2011 9:57 pm Mclaren Nice looking panels ... we are still humming an haaing over solar .... probably should get it but you just feel like all these companies are jumping on the bandwagon and offering interest free deals, pressure's on because the tariff is dropping in SA at the end of Sept ... what to do????? The tarriff or rebate Annette??? If its the rebate dropping then you are best to make a decision and get it now if that's what you want to do before the rebate drops. If its the tarriff (what you get paid for the electricity you produce) then it won't matter when you make your decision because you will get less regardless of when you put your system in. From what I have read on here systems down south don't seem to cost as much as up here, but then your output will be less overall compared to us too. For us, our system is big enough to start paying itself off as soon as the new meters are installed. In the mean time, our current meter just runs backwards while we are producing and then forwards while we are using...if that makes sense. brb_654 Your system looks fantastic! I had a chuckle when I read you did 22.7 kwh, we knocked out a massive 1.7 kwh Don't think the sun even popped it's head out today thanks BArb we were a bit overcast on wed so only got in 18.7 but it was up to 22.2 today again. Mind you, wet season will not be so good. kiwi solar is excellent in a sunny climate. well done you, for making all that lovely energy (not you barb, That was dismal!) so did the olds go yesterday? Yep olds disappeared yesterday but have now got flights booked for first week in dec to come and see dragon spawn, virgin had a small sale on so have them booked in now. handmick we should be paid to put solar panels in in Victoria..
