He was very helpful with a few questions I had and was happy to show and explain to me some of his trade secrets. You're in good hands there. The slab and honing was starting to take shape. And just so you all know, the pictures don't do him justice. He's a very handsome man. Re: SOG and ONC the Conc!!!! 30Jun 04, 2010 10:15 am kayandandy Yeah we think that to Chippy!!! How did you know where our site was?!!! Man Perth is too small!!! I'm not stalking you. South Beach is only small and the photo you posted made it pretty easy to locate your block. There aren't to many larger norfolk pines there. Your about 1 month ahead of my OB so it's interesting to follow were you are up to. Good luck with it all. Grano awesome, plumber excellent next the brickie who comes with great recommendations!! Re: SOG and ONC the Conc!!!! 32Jun 04, 2010 9:32 pm We're building in Yokine. I've actually got all my trades sorted, but thanks for the offer. If I need any rec's I'll let you know. I'm a carpenter so know quite a few tradies. Is your place double or triple storey? There are some nice houses in your area, I like South Freo and the south beach development will breath some real life into the area. I will put some plans on photobucket then you can see it!!! Brickies next week for round one! What are you building? I went to uni in Mt Lawley - really like it around there but having lived in Europe for the past thirteen years just want to be near the ocean! Re: SOG and ONC the Conc!!!! 34Jun 05, 2010 12:24 am Ours is a double storey, about 330m2 in total. We've subdivided our block so needed to go double storey to get enough space in the house. I suppose I should start my own thread. Re: SOG and ONC the Conc!!!! 36Jun 05, 2010 10:30 pm Hi ONC, is that typical or a result of the 50mpa conc!! Accessible Carpentry & Cabinets accessiblecarpentry@gmail.com accessiblecarpentry.com.au https://www.facebook.com/pages/Accessible-Carpentry-Cabinets/583314911709039 Re: SOG and ONC the Conc!!!! 37Jun 05, 2010 10:47 pm Hmmm I guess when you 'cure' a slab correctly the strength is increased. what started out 32 mpa I guess would have gone to 50mpa. So yes hardness does have an effect on the grind time ...normally in that amount of time I'd have finished. Where you are coming from is where you are going to... Re: SOG and ONC the Conc moves on ... the next stage! 38Jun 10, 2010 12:30 am Onc on Conc has done the business and wrapped up my slab for me! Poor man was very sick so appreciate his getting it done in time for our brickie! Brickies start tomorrow which is just so exciting except the brick lot are a bunch of daft buggers only delivering about 8 pallets ... we ordered 70 odd! Promises of tomorrow! Wooden window frames tomorrow in preparation for double glazing that has been ordered! We got a door from Poland as well and it is very very sexy! All in including tropical profiles, an awesome door, mosquito nets, two sliders and 40 windows it cost 13 000 dollars. I will pay shipping and import duty but really it is a steal at those prices! Will keep you posted. Re: SOG and ONC the Conc!!!! 39Jun 10, 2010 7:52 pm tired I'd say ... it has been a few long weeks All is good Where you are coming from is where you are going to...
