I chose not to use him and draw it myself. Architects, Designers and builders all do exactly the same, that is charge like wounded bulls for drawings, your design Worse still is that they will claim copyright on your design... a contentious issue esky My drawings have just been submitted to the surveyor with some help of my engineer, I am happy they were free. I find Engineers tend to automate their solutions & processes. A few clicks and "whola" it's done...."No Charge for the xtras, ie. data and quantities included ..." Plaster and gyrock Quants Unfortunately the opposite is not possible Architects /Designers/Builders can't automate the engineering...the engineering needs to be licensed/certified So that counts them out in being able to completely automate the whole AEC process and reducing the costs even further Cheers Chris Designer,Engineer (Civil,Const & Envir),Builder,Concrete & Masonry Contract.Struct Repairs 6 11469 Really tight at the top of the stairs- how to get furniture into those rooms?
