Browse Forums Owner Builder Forum 1 Nov 14, 2009 12:35 am Hi all, Im planning to owner build and have been in contact with my bank (westpac) for finance. One of the criteria they require is a cost estimation report and progress payment reports prepared and signed by an 'independent supervisor'. Now im not sure who can do this, as in what profession, etc. Im in Brisbane and if anyone has any recommendations in the area or tips that would be very helpful Also any info on how owner builder finance is arranged (e.g. does it have to be done in stages to claim progress payments) Thanks in advance!
