What cost saving could i expect if I owner build and ran the project myself as opposed to going to a boutique builder? House build would be around 450K with a builder.

Chris My father rode a camel, I drive a car, my son flies in a jetliner, his son will ride a camel.Saudi saying Re: O/B Novice 4Sep 14, 2009 12:23 am depends alot on what you can do yourself, if you can source pc items cheaply and can negotiate good prices for building materials. also consider the loss of earnings of you manage everything yourself as it really is a fulltime effort I have been at it for 9 months now and ignoring any income not generated by not working I prob would have save approx $100k and also ensured better materials and construction method and the freedom to change alot of things as I go. |
