Browse Forums Owner Builder Forum Re: Your slab, what to look out for? 81May 07, 2010 12:55 am Just wanted to share this. There was some discussion in another thread about reo and mesh touching the waffle pods, the plastic, or even the external formwork. Of course, it should not happen. There's a house being built nearby and their formwork has just been done (although, strangely, the mesh and top of pods are above the timber frames ... can't figure into what are they going to pour the concrete when there's nothing to hold it but the part that's too low (have to go and see tomorrow if this has been fixed). Anyway, I noticed the bottom reo touching the styro pods in one spot . Wouldn't be surprised there's more of it (this slab will be huge). Although (surprisingly), I didn't see any mesh offcuts at the bottom of the slab ... My signature is distracting people from my wise posts ... No the fireplace doesn’t work. It’s been enclosed. I’m not sure what was removed, as it was done quite some time ago - well before what I can see with photos online… 2 11530 Interested in getting either the Polytec Boston Oak or Palace Peak for kitchen cabinets.
