Do you have to say how is going to do the work when you submit these to council or can they be submitted to council before the owner builder exam is done? Also my husband is the only owner on title for out house and the mortgage is just in his name, can I be the owner builder as his wife, or does he need to take the exam? Also it will be easier to have the OB cert in the name that is on the title as the time limit will go against that name (an owner is only allowed to owner build 1 house ever 6 years). And it takes 6 years from completetion to have the OB removed from the title.
