Browse Forums Owner Builder Forum 1 Jul 23, 2009 9:33 am Hi All We are about to get our construction certificate from our PCA and they have asked for copies of "Housing Specifications". I assume that this is the Building Code of Australia (BCA) or the Australian Standards or both. Help! I rang and asked but the receptionist was very vague and just said its a booklet you get for around $20. Did anyone have to have this and what it is? Thanks Loretta Re: "Housing Specifications" - Australian Standards/BCA 2Jul 23, 2009 9:53 am Hi Loretta, The office of our PCA also said we had to do it but once i spoke with the the actual certifier he said he would sort it out and all he did was fill in the 1st page, which is simple. We also had to buy 4 booklets at 15 bucks a pop so we bought 1 and my wife photo copied the other 3 and assembled them to look exactly like the original book, no one would no the difference. Hope that helps Re: "Housing Specifications" - Australian Standards/BCA 3Jul 23, 2009 10:05 am Thanks mrevp! Where did you get the booklet from and what exactly am I asking for? thanks!
