Is there a reason you went for one of each and not 2 of the same species? I'm about to go through the exercise of working out what to get. Re: septic & water tanks 6Jul 01, 2009 8:36 pm We paid around $11000 for a 153000L colourbond tank (Wilderness Green) incl. pump. Site works extra. Piccies in my blog. We may get another one later as we will be relying soley on rain as our source of water. We haven't chosen a septic system yet. We have to have an alternative treatment unit and are looking at either Ecomax or Biolytix. They seem to range between $8000 - $11000 or so, but some need more services, use more power, etc so we have more research to do on that one. Copy cat, Pete. We got the same tank, same size.....but ours is gal, not colourbond, so was abit cheaper. We went for a plain old absorption trench. Other types have maintenance & on going service costs, plus hate all that chlorine in them, not great for the environment!. Also an absorption trench system will still work in a blackout (we get a few out our way). Life's too short too drink bad wine That was always going to be a challenge and a test of patience. Full marks to your mate. Did you discuss the wet area near the trampoline? 16 17325 18 90427 |
