Re: Electrical Costs ? 6Mar 04, 2010 11:51 am You can save on electrical costs if you have an understanding sparky by doing such things as nailing the wall brackets for switches and GPO's. Of course digging the trench, never let the spark have to do it. Even you can run your own cable looping Gpo to Gpo is not hard. If you have a couple of Gpo's in each room bore through the timber and run the cable yourself. This of course works best if you have a spark on an hourly rate, if its a quoted job prob wont make too much difference but just have a chat to him, most tradesman that i know(I am a spark) will help you keep costs down where possible Must be labour only.
