You might get varying prices depending on whether or not the test is a condition of purchase - ie you have made the purchase of the land 'subject to a soil test'. Anything more i would be questioing why. Usually 3 holes(test) is sufficient. Soils tests are usued to get an indication of soil type, and to be able to design slab accordingly.
