Browse Forums Owner Builder Forum Re: timber flooring before or after gyprocking 7Dec 28, 2008 7:57 am hatsi The carpenter wants to know if he can go ahead with the flooring (maybe he has run out of other work) Our 2nd fix order is: Gyprock + Mouldings except skirting boards + Insulation Painting 2nd fix electrical + ducts/vents and other services Joinery + tiling + 2nd fix plumbing Flooring Finish of skirting boards & paint over Robes Flyscreens + Window coverings There are probably many possibilities but anything that minimises damage of existing installations is ideal.
