Browse Forums Owner Builder Forum 1 Nov 15, 2008 3:13 pm I asked a builder for a quote, but decided to owner build instead.
Anyway, he did give me the electricians quote. But from an owner builder's perspective, I can't tell what is included in the quote. Obviously they are not going to include the light fittings, fans etc, but as I read the quote it says 1 x power point, 2 x power point etc. So, I don't know what the quote actually includes. Is the electrical wiring + the actual wall power points (plastic) + simple bayonet fittings included in the quote (the basic parts)? Or is the quote only for the service provided. I can't tell from reading it. Plus, if those things are not included in the quote, which would be the cheapest way to buy them? From the electrical wholesaler or from the electrician, or from a building supplies place? "Supply and Install". If it doesn't have the word "supply", the materials are not part of the cost. Sometimes the quotes can be quite vague in their explanations, but I guess the contract would have a more accurate listing.
Thanks They using concrete or timber sleepers? Timber or steel uprights? Any drainage behind sleeper? 3 5875 hey there! 😊 so, it’s kinda common for standard drawer depths to be around 500mm since most cabinets use this size to fit the usual runners… 3 20905 I was being kind to the builder. With the amount charged for the upgrade the builder is probably charging closer to 100% margin. There are a few variables as I… 5 14307 |
