thanks for all the prompt replies, We are actually demolishing an existing cladded addition that has a ptiched ceiling and replacing it with a brick veneer of the same dimensions with a higher roof that will allow a flat ceiling height of 2.7m (currently the ceiling slopes from 2.7m to 2.4m). Demolition (some asbestos in the eaves) 3. Framing of walls and roof 4. brickie 5. roofing 6. windows and doors 7. insulation 8. electrical and plumbing 9. gyprock 10 timber flooring 11. new kitchen What sort of cost should we anticipate (about 35 square metres living space). The brickie quoted $4500 for 2700 bricks i.e. labour including cutting and scaffolding, is this about right?
