After an hour of trawling the web all I've gathered is saying your family is going to live in the other house is not going to get approved. But no real idea what circumstances they would approve Personally, I am going to have a lumpy cashflow year. So if worst case i have to delay a couple trades for a month it will be a lot easier than having having to delay a large progress payment to a builder and derail things.
