Browse Forums Owner Builder Forum 1 Dec 01, 2022 4:04 pm Hi As I am supplying my own kitchen and bathroom appliances ( vanity, basin, cooktop, oven etc…), the Builder has indicated the items are not covered under his insurance, and I need an insurance policy to cover the items until the handover by the Builder. Could anyone direct me to insurance as most insurance do not cover houses under Construction? So any damage done while installing will be your problem. Be prepared to have your products rubbished especially if your builder usually supplies these items. If you supply your own electrical appliances, why don't you simply install them post handover? There is nothing fancy about installing those, any electrician can do this.
