Browse Forums Owner Builder Forum 1 Oct 19, 2021 11:17 am Hey all, We're in a new build and we have this constant noise when ever there is wind. The more wind the longer it goes on for. Had builder out 3 times and been in the roof and couldn't find the source. Wondering if anyone has heard this and what caused it. It seems to be the roof, but it does sound you can hear it in some of the internal walls. But I'm thinking this is just virabrations or sound spreading. Re: Colorbond excessive noise. I am assuming you are in a high wind load area? If your engineer/builder hasn't provided you with them then contact your Council building department they should have copies. If no one has copies, then I would be asking why not? Some designers/builders provide little or no information when building.....it makes it harder to check and deflects (pun) blame away from them when things go wrong. There's your starting point ..worse case scenario... hopefully it's not as bad? Designer,Engineer (Civil,Const & Envir),Builder,Concrete & Masonry Contract.Struct Repairs How good is Simeon?!
