Browse Forums Owner Builder Forum Re: Concreter in Sydney area 5Jan 19, 2023 10:51 am alexp79 My build is got a bit delayed, so not yet. I have a good concreter recommended by friends and planning to try him out next month. If he proves to be good, I will be able to recommend him to you. Did you go ahead with the concreter. Would you recommend him? Re: Concreter in Sydney area 7Apr 29, 2023 11:33 pm alexp79 If he proves to be good, I will be able to recommend him to you. Does 'no reply', mean no recommendation because he wasn't good ? I'm wondering about the concreters too, in Sydney. Primarily for a ~3m wide driveway, for about 60+ metres, and some more for extension of this driveway, into a car turning / parking bay (maybe 15m x 5m area) Re: Concreter in Sydney area 8Apr 30, 2023 1:40 am Yes, that one was really not good and I had to redo some of my footings. This is why I am not recommending. The ones I was using after them were Pumpco Group and they were fairly okay. I am quite sure Simeon @Ashington Homes can provide some more prominent recommendations. Speak to owner Brad, good guy (was willing to roll with exact scope I wanted). Re: Concreter in Sydney area 11May 01, 2023 12:33 am arab3455 If it helps, I ended up using kookaburra concrete. Also, do you have any ideas of costs, as in, what's a ballpark estimate for a total area of 250 sqm for driveway access ? Re: Concreter in Sydney area 12May 01, 2023 9:42 am Just checked the list of the forum's concreting pros and found it strange that there are numerous from Melbourne but few from anywhere else. You could take a walk (or a bike ride) around your local area one Sunday to look for new driveways and do some door knocking. Most persons are forthcoming.. Ask then check how long any concreter you talk to has been in business and addresses of their most recent work. 3in1 Supadiverta. Rainwater Harvesting Best Practice using syphonic drainage.
