Hi all. Im from argentina, so sorry for my english..
Im building my house, and Im designing the Rainwater collection system.
It wont be big, Because we already have a water net. But maybe with time, I would like to and tanks.
Here the tanks are expensive.. so i will start with a 3000 litres to irrigation, car wash, and backup..
My roof is 200 sq meters. The tank is behind the house, and it will be a wet system.
I already put the horizontal pipe. It is a 50 mm polietilene. The deep point is it the otherside of the tank, with a valve to flush it. Near the tank, o will up the 50mm pipe to charge the tank from the top, but with a valve to charge from the bottom. Is it the "low restriction inlet"? It will help to flush and clean with pressure the wet pipe.
It will be one downpipe (60 sq meters of roof), 8 meters away from the tank, and another one (only one, in a corner of 200 sq meters of roof) 18 meters away from the tank..
The horizontal pipe is 20 meter long.
Here arent heavy rains often, I think the 50mm pipe will be ok..
Would you give some advices?
Here is nule the Rainwater harvesting for consumtion culture..
Again, sorry for my english..
Hope your answers..
