Is it worthwhile to do it through the builder or just do the whole lot after handover when money becomes available? Built in panels won't have this advantage and also run hotter which means lower efficiency. If I was planning to have panels installed I would Be going for a steel roof rather than easily damaged tiles. Making sure that things like kitchen extraction ducts weren't coming out of a roof that would be used for panels.
