I'm planning on keeping the solar panels, but wondering if I should trade them in for new ones, or are the old ones still OK to reuse? I got them when the labor government had that massive solar panel rebate scheme. If you are planning on putting a bigger system up, then chances are the panels you have are more than likely not compatible with what is sold now. However that said, you might like to keep what you have and add on new panels and inverter. This is all subject to feed in tariffs being kept by you if you upgrade your system. I think it's likely that we will want to upgrade the system, but may do that a bit down the track.
