Hi All,
We're currently starting to tackle our back yard landscaping (finally) and amongst the shed, water tanks, rendered planters and numerous other debates we've had the topic of using solar is something we'd like to look into. Basically I'd like to use some feature lighting around our garden and I'd like to put a solar panel on our shed roof to power them.
The lights will all be LED where possible and will probably number at least 12. So I'm wondering what sort of setup I'd be looking at for some simple, but different, garden lighting. I know I can buy the solar lights that stick into the ground but I'm looking for something to actually build into planters, timber feature walls and to use to light up a small tree. Hopefully whatever setup will enable the lights to illuminate for about 4-5 hours per night.
I don't even know if this whole concept is worth the effort/money for this function but if it adds some more wow factor to our house then I think it's worth looking into.
Any advise much apreciated,
cheers
Matt
