THE SOLAR TAXI IS COMING TO AUSTRALIA
Louis Palmer and his support team from Switzerland are driving a solar-powered taxi around the world. The journey has already taken them from Europe through Asia to Bali (coinciding with the Climate Change Talks) and New Zealand.

The solar taxi arrives in Sydney on 1 February and subject to customs clearance and no other delays along the way, is expected to arrive in Adelaide from Melbourne around 12 February and depart on 14 February stopping at Port Augusta, Poochera, Nundroo, Travellers Village, Caiguna on the way to WA.

Ideally the team would like to recharge batteries overnight preferably using solar/wind or other alternative power sources (eg Greenpower). Offers of meals/accommodation etc also appreciated. If you can help with either aspect please contact Lis Shelley on 02 6495 7160 or lis@nullarbor.com.au

First public demonstration will be 17 February in Adelaide.
