Browse Forums Eco Living Re: First power (post solar install) bill--Wrong!!!!!!! 21Oct 21, 2011 11:34 am Update: Rang my supplier and turns out my account is not registered as having a grid connected PV system and therefore the solar credit portion of my bill was not included. The bill is now in dispute and they are sending out a dude to re-read the meter. Re: First power bill (post solar install) ------ Wrong!!!!!! 22Oct 21, 2011 12:13 pm So for all your boasting about your output it seems you may not get anything out of it? What a bummer! I dont know what type of meter you have there but in SA its almost foolproof for the meter reader, who pushes a button to get the Kwhs imported and those exported Each month I read my meter, calculating Imported power at 28.62c/Kwh and Exported at 52c plus the daily service charge. Im never more than a couple of dollars out on the bill and am getting ready for a spend-up with the hundreds $$$ in credit Arfur Re: First power bill (post solar install) ------ Wrong!!!!!! 23Oct 21, 2011 1:58 pm Uncle Arfur So for all your boasting about your output it seems you may not get anything out of it? The meter may look to be working correctly calculating both input and export electricity. However this is something else they need to do. When i realized I wasnt being credited they sent a guy out who spent 2mintues then the export counters all reset.
