So even after 30 years it would have a decent amount left. It doesn't cost much more for argon filled and even if it only works for 20 years, it better than none. Having said that, I only got argon put into some windows that had a 8 mm air gap. You really need a 12 mm air gap, but 8 mm plus argon got me to the same as a 12 mm air gap.
