We have recieved our construction drawings today and on each page it states that our house is rated at 5 stars and 7 points.
Does anyone know what the points signify?

Does anyone know what the points signify? Phoenix Using First Rate The house energy rating measures the energy efficiency of a house by allocating a point score for various design features (such as building fabric, window design, insulation, orientation and other features) and provides an overall rating on a scale from 0 to 6 stars, with half star increments. Update! Believe you start with like minus 92 points and plus 7 points equals 5 star Dont know what equals 6 I will confirm on Monday regards DQQ Never argue with an idiot!!!! They drag you down to their level then beat you with experience. Re: 5 Star Energy Ratings 8Dec 01, 2007 8:24 am So in that case, is 7 points above 5 star good, average or what???

I think our very own member Peter from Ausdesign sums it nicely on his web site. http://www.ausdesign.com/energyrating/faq.html Steve Re: 5 Star Energy Ratings 14Dec 17, 2007 9:30 pm Thanks Steve, i've checked out the ausdesign website. I suppose we;ll get a report when the house is complete then???
Will have to ask about that one. 10 years ago was a different software than we use now. it has had a lot of changes over the past years. Improvments to the software and changes to how Nathers models need… 8 1510 go upvc window frames ensure insulation under colorbond. not just sarking, lighter color roof also not sure if you have seen this viewtopic.php?t=5823 last couple of pages… 4 110574 |
