Bicarb soda makes a great odour remover in carpet etc.
My labrador has been helping herself to our couch we we leave the room so once a week I sprinkle bicarb on it, leave for 10mins & then vacuum, seems to work really well.

My last was the washing detergent. I found the grey water safe ones too expensive and didn't do the job. But soon a 'water way' safe product came on the market in a bulk tub, which I find cleans really well and I know I am not contributing to water polution. quote] Which one was this? DH has a lot of chemical sensitivities, so w're on the lookout for a good one. Sorry!!! Only just noticed this comment. It was Ea*th choice... I think only coles has it in the 15 ltr tub. Earth ch*ce, did get in trouble a couple of years ago for 'seeming to be green'... when they actually wern't grey water safe. I think they have now changed their product so it classified as grey water safe, which is then water way safe.... apparently there is a difference??? . Either way it's $15 for 15 ltrs, it's easy to use, I can use the rinse cycle water on my pot plants and I havn't had any plant deaths yet!! I just hold my water can under each rinse cycle, you will be amazed at how much water I get. go the GREENS!
