It uses the sun to heat the air from floor level and pumping it back into the house. Works well to take the edge off the cold weather and is able to raise the temperature of the house a couple of degrees during winter. I will be using QSolar system in my new house and expect good results from it. If you are in a cool or temperate climate and have the northern access it would be worthwhile. Investigate the running cost of the controls and fan to ensure it won't cost too much to run and of course all the other efficency design features of the house need to be considered.
