Our local planning laws require the room to be mechanically externally vented (which we would want anyway, as it's a toilet). Skylights have to be vented too, but I'm not sure whether that venting is actually enough on its own or whether more is needed. Basically, I'm looking for ways to minimise the number of things in the ceiling. We want a skylight, electric light, whirlybird and electric extractor fan - all in a toilet ceiling! Jilamint posted a link to Edmonds Turbobeam ventilated skylight in another thread. Edmonds recommend this specifically for attic spaces, and I wonder whether it's not "pretty enough" for the main part of the house. (Mental note to call them and ask.) Does anyone know if there is an all-in-one skylight with electric extractor fan, whirybird, and light all in the one fixture? Or, are we better off looking for 2-in-one or 3-in-one products that do the job well?
