Out of interest, do you know how they rate for cost and CO2 relative to heating value? I always thought they would be bad -- thermodynamic heat-pump advantage notwithstanding, electricity generation + transmission is shockingly inefficient and expensive -- but surprisingly often hear them being put up as reasonable alternatives to gas heating.
