Hi all,
I'm thinking of using Volvox Clay Decor paint on the walls and want to know if I should use a primer of some sort on unpainted plaster walls and whereabouts I can buy this product in Perth?

I chose it because I hate the smell of conventional paint and I was able to get away with just one coat, so even though it's a bit more expensive per litre, it actually worked out cheaper and saved me heaps of time and energy. I love it - it's so gorgeously gloopy. I ran out of paint for the final room and bought some British paint on special. It gave me a cracking headache, was thin and streaky and took two coats and still didn't cover as well as the volvox' one. I bought mine from planet ark in fremantle. The guy there is a full bottle and will be able to answer any questions about primer. Re: Volvox paints 4Jan 18, 2014 2:05 pm Hi, Volvox Clay Decor does not require primer. You can paint directly onto the plaster board. Regards, www.coloursbynature.com.au The yellowing mainly occurs to white or very light colours. 1 3089 |
